Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Classroom Cover Supervisor to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in local secondary schools across the Blackburn area for a start in immediately.

The role

Have you worked with children in a previous role?

Have you worked as a sports coach and would now like to gain experience of working in a school setting?

Are you looking to get into teaching?

The desired Cover Supervisor be working within a school environment and be supervising pupils across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), providing flexible support to cover short-term staff absence. Delivering pre-planned lessons, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to get into teaching or working within a school.

This is role has a flexible starting position and can be either ad-hoc, short term or ongoing long-term position for what ever suits your availability.

The school

We work with a number of schools across the Blackburn and surrounding area that require support within the classroom.  This may be in different schools or as a block booking in the same school.

Requirements
To be considered for the Cover Supervisor position, you will:


  • Have experience working with children in an capacity
  • Hold a degree qualification
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills
  • Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required
