This is a fabulous opportunity for a Classroom Support Assistant who enjoys working on a 1:1, small group, and whole class basis with children with SEN and additional needs. This is a highly respected and popular specialist school looking for a CSA for a full-time, permanent role (term time only). Applicants for this role need to be nurturing, patient and committed to making learning accessible to secondary-aged learners with severe and complex learning difficulties. This school is committed to supporting every child offering many routes to success including formal pathways including GCSE and Alevels and also vocational routes. This setting is about making dreams come true and allowing every child the opportunity to grow and develop. You would join a committed team and would work collaboratively in small teams to support learners. No Classes are greater than 10 pupils. This is a fabulous opportunity not to be missed. This role is needed on a term time basis, Monday-Friday 08:30-4:30 pm.

All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:

• Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Relevant teaching Assistant and SEN experience (desirable)
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

• Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
• Supporting learners with severe and complex needs
• Working with the teacher to support the learning objectives
