Position: Cleaner

Pay Rate: 12-13 per hour

Location:Plymouth

We are looking for a hard-working and energetic individual who can take care of cleaning works in the schools across Plymouth. If you are committed to maintaining a clean, hygienic and welcoming environment in the school, you could be the perfect fit for our team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, ensuring that toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors are thoroughly maintained.
• Empty trash bins, replace liners, and manage waste disposal in accordance with established guidelines.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery safely, reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, using cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the Site Supervisor or appropriate personnel, assisting with minor repairs if necessary.
• Communicate with school staff to address specific cleaning requests or issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements for a Cleaner:

• Residing in the UK
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Previous experience as Cleaner in the school is an advantage
• Efficient in carrying out cleaning tasks
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment and chemicals
• Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
