Job Title: Cleaning Officer

Location: Kendal

As a Cleaning Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of the offices, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic space for everyone.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep the building, including bathrooms and kitchen areas, clean and tidy at all times
  • Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and housekeeping supplies
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the Head of Facilities and Digital
  • Periodically check and clean Trust pool vehicles
  • Ensure meeting rooms and conference kitchen are well-organised for each group
  • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Efficiently use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to adhere to schedules
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings and evenings
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
