Cleaning Operative –  Burgess Hill, West Sussex  – FM Service Provider - £12.60 per hour  
Exciting opportunity for a cleaner to work for an established cleaning company situated in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. CBW are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to be based in a commercial building. The successful candidates will have a proven track record in cleaning within a commercial building.
Details / Hours:

• Monday to Friday
\n
• 05:00am to 09:00am
\n
• Ongoing contract
\n
• Immediate start
\n

Key duties & Responsibilities:

\n
• Check that all cleaning equipment is safe to use before commencing work
\n
• Undertake suction cleaning, sweeping and washing of all floor areas 
\n
• Emptying waste bins and receptacles
\n
• Clean toilets and wash room areas
\n
• Clean fixtures and fittings ensuring that high and low surfaces are free from dust and dirt
\n
• Carpet cleaning, stripping / sealing / polishing of floors
\n
• To maintain store cupboards and replenish allocated cleaning stock / materials
\n
• Provide a rapid response when reacting to spillages and other cleaning or waste
\n
• Report any building defects
\n
• Paying particular attention to health and safety matters including possible hazards
\n
• To be fully conversant with security, fire and emergency procedures
\n
• To comply with the company’s policies, management plans and procedures
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Have a proven track record in cleaning within a commercial environment
\n
• To work to a timescale as agreed with you and your Supervisor/Manager
\n
• Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety practices
\n
• To always act in a professional manner
\n
• Be honest, reliable, and hard working
\n
• Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills
\n
• Be eligible to work in the UK
\n
• Safety boots needed
\n
