Equans is looking for a Cleaning Supervisor, to join our team in The City Academy, Hackney, London, E9 6EA on a permanent basis. This is a full time vacancy working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £12.19 per hour. Shift times:
Mon-Fri 11:00-1900 What will you deliver? To supervise the cleaning team, ensuring all areas of the building are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
To provide general supervision of the cleaning team. To undertake general cleaning duties as required, including but not limited to the following, cleaning of floors, toilets, furniture and fittings, emptying bins and other receptacles and removal of rubbish. Ensuring all cleaning equipment is safe to use before commencing duties and reporting any defects immediately.
To ensure all cleaning equipment used is cleaned and returned to designated storerooms in a safe and tidy manner after use. To undertake major and minor periodic cleaning duties as may be required, including but not limited to carpet cleaning, stripping/sealing/polishing of floors and cleaning of ceiling tiles/vents. Performing regular quality checks of the standard of cleaning and reporting as required

Who are we looking for?
Previous experience as a cleaner Previous supervisor experience Previous experience in a customer facing role Good knowledge of Health & Safety / Cleaning requirements
For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential Who are we?
