Cleaning Supervisor – North Berwick - FM Service Provider - £13.00 per hour PAYECBW have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor to work for an established FM company based in a large commercial building in North Berwick. The successful candidate will have a proven track record working as a Cleaning Supervisor outlined in an up to date CV.
Package Includes:Competitive salary up to £13.00 per hour PAYE
Training and support will be available on site
Monday - Thursday - 3.50pm - 9.50pm
Friday - 12.30pm - 7pm
The successful candidate will be hired on a temporary basis leading to a permanent opportunity.
Key duties & Responsibilities:\n- The supervision of front-line operatives representing the client
\n- Cleaning of communal areas and toilets
\n- Touch point cleaning
\n- Comply with health and safety policies/legislation
\n- Undertake regular service audits
\n- React to all requests from the client or management team within the specified time frame
\n- Ensure that all operations are conducted safety and appropriate risk assessment is conducted for non-recorded activities
\n- Notice and report any H&S issues that may arise within the estate
\n- Assist the Cleaning & Services Managers in delivering a fully compliant operation
\n- Monitor and complete accurate registration of attendances and the rescheduling of cleaning staff to cover absences, lateness and holidays
\n- Note and report any general maintenance issues across the estate
\n
Requirements:\n- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
\n- Previous experience of supervising operations in a demanding environment
\n- Customer service focused
\n- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
\n- Excellent interpersonal skills
\n- Knowledge and applications of relevant standards and legislation such as COSHH, risk assessment, hygiene standards and health & safety management
\n- Ideally have previous commercial cleaning experience competent and understands the works involved in the job role
\n- Must have or be able to pass a PVG
\n- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
