• Term Time: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM

• School Holidays: Daytime hours (to be confirmed)

• 20 hours per week

Contract Type:

• Preferably 52 weeks per year, but term-time only (39 weeks) may be considered

Pay rate

\n

\n
• £14.16 - £15.18 per hour Depending on experience
\n

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team of cleaning operatives. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the school. The position is an evening-only role during term time and transitions to daytime hours during school holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily operational supervision of the cleaning team under the Site Manager's guidance.
\n
• Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including COSHH regulations.
\n
• Schedule and manage work shifts and absence cover for the team.
\n
• Conduct quality audits, performance appraisals, and training for team members.
\n
• Manage stock and equipment replenishment in liaison with the Site Manager.
\n
• Undertake and supervise cleaning duties, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
\n
• Secure the school premises at the end of cleaning sessions, including setting alarms.
\n

Essential Criteria:

\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory cleaning role.
\n
• Familiarity with current cleaning industry best practices, methods, products, and equipment.
\n
• Understanding of health and safety regulations, including COSHH.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
\n
• Reliable, adaptable, and committed to upholding the values of the school.
\n

Desirable Criteria:

\n

\n
• BICs cleaning qualification or equivalent.
\n
• Experience using cleaning machinery such as floor polishers.
\n
