Cobalt are excited to be working with a global real estate business based in London to secure a Client Accountant.
Our client is looking for an experienced finance professional with a strong background in property accounting, and will take ownership of the preparation and reporting of property portfolio, including service charge, rent and other operational costs.
Key Responsibilities,
Preparing robust reports for clients, ensuring all SLAs and KPIs are adhered to
Ensure accurate reconciliation of service charge income and expenditure
Point of contact for client queries, providing support and advice where necessary
Internal point of contact for surveying colleagues
Maintain/Oversee housekeeping of property & leases data on financial database
Management of client and property cash-flow and funding
Annual property service charge reviews and liaise with Asset Manager and Service Charge Team to ensure completion within best practice guidelines
Instruct Treasury department (following the relevant approvals) of the following
Collection of monies
Amendments to Client Accounts
Payment of client property related transactions
General maintenance of client funds i.e. tenant refunds etc.
Required Experience,
Previous experience of client accounting
Financial and technical reporting experience
The ability to work in a varied and evolving department.
Part Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA)
Excellent organization and communication skills.
The ability to communicate with all levels within the business as well as clients.
Confidence with a positive outlook
Ethical with strong integrity
