Job Description We're recruiting for a Client Director to join us where you will manage all aspects of LGIM's relationships with clients and act as clients' representative within LGIM. What you'll be doing: Managing and building out a book of new and existing client partnerships with LGIM's most sophisticated clients (responsible for managing the P&L of client book of business) Delivering the highest standards of client service for strategic/LGPS clients Engaging with sophisticated clients at a level of technical competence that best positions LGIM to be their primary partner in defining and evolving investment solutions Developing client plans and retention strategies, engaging senior management as appropriate Engaging with senior management across L&G / LGIM to represent client interests / issues and champion tactical solutions and strategic initiatives Engaging effectively with senior client decision makers across trustee boards, LGPS funds, pools and investment teams (e.g. CEOs and CIOs) Engaging with LGIM's senior investors in terms of representing client issues and trends, contributing to the formulation of investment solutions Responsibility for good governance and risk management in terms of the relationships with clients and other counterparties Responsibility for maintaining and updating team process and implementing Salesforce as the key source of client data storage Qualifications Who we're looking for: Preferably higher education/degree Ideally IMC and/or CFA or other relevant qualifications Technical competence Ability to engage on a senior level with key stakeholders Previous experience in relevant financial services (e.g. investment management/banking/consulting/private markets).
