Brook Street are working with a well established and busy accounting firm based in Chippenham. Due to continued growth in their client base, they're appointing for a Client Manager to help service their large portfolio of clients. The role is full-time, Mon-Fri, 9-5 with the flexibility of hybrid working. The salary is negotiable upon initial discussion and interview.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and prepare accurate financial statements and reports, adhering to accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare or review VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC requirements.
- Conduct personal and corporate tax computations, providing timely and accurate submissions and advising on tax planning strategies.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, handling queries, building strong relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
- Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring their accounting needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Contribute to the firm's growth and success, bringing innovative ideas and strategies to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
- Proven expertise in preparing accounts, VAT returns, and tax computations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
