Position: Client Services Associate - SeniorReports to: Head of Client ServicesAbout the RoleBased in their London office, the professional would be a part of a 5 person Client Service team supporting the business across multiple geographic jurisdictions. The team encompasses investor relations, client service and sales support duties. The Investor Relations team, with whom Client Service interact closely, is made up of 5 individuals with global coverage.The successful candidate will form part of a close knit team supporting sales as well a multitude of other portfolio investment, legal and compliance, risk and trade operations functions. We are looking for someone who knows the role and can add value immediately. An ideal candidate is one who is used to multi-tasking, is client-centric is everything they do and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.Primary DutiesResponsible for reporting portfolio, fund and firm level information to investors, auditors, prospects, regulators, and other external stakeholdersAct as a primary liaison for RfPs / RfIs, by coordinating coherent and appropriate information gathered from internal subject matter experts, including but not limited to, risk management, trading, investment team, legal and compliance, fund accounting, senior executives, and HRAct as a primary liaison between them and their administrators Investor Services teamResponsible for reviewing, validating, and standardising the investment team’s monthly investor commentary as well as various other fund level performance and risk parameters ensuring overall accuracy and appropriateness Responsible for processing and reporting daily and/or monthly investor capital activity to a broad audience of internal stakeholders, whilst liaising with the fund administrator to ensure accuracy of trade flow feed and booking accuracyWork closely with the Middle East and Asia [AD1] sales team to strategize on client coverage, respond to investor queries and provide overall client support (including but not limited to prospecting, onboarding, and client lifecycle activity)Coordinate and lead investor due diligence meetings (onsite or virtual) including assistance with the preparation of all requested materials in advance of the meeting as well as follow up itemsResponsible for content updates and/or creation, as well as frequent maintenance of standard marketing materials for the funds and the firm, including monthly presentations as well as periodic full reviews of fund and investment manager DDQs.Engage with the technology team on projects involving report automation, process automation, dashboards, and other continuous improvement items to deliver efficiencyGeneralAny other duties commensurate with the post holder’s position and seniority; andAll employees should understand that it is their personal responsibility to comply with all organisational, statutory and regulatory policies and procedures.Educational & Professional QualificationsEducated to degree level or higher (or equivalent) in a leading university; andIMC, CAIA, CFA or Qualified Accountancy accreditation is advantageousExperience, Knowledge, and SkillsExcellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all staff and clients alikeFundamental understanding of performance and risk parameters (NAV, VAR, performance since inception, etc)Familiarity with CRM and client reporting systems (Backstop Solutions CRM is a plus)Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a range of competing priorities and projects to complete deadlinesAdvanced IT skillset, particularly with Microsoft suite of products, specifically excel and powerBIKey Internal RelationshipsThe individual will be expected to liaise and/or consult with the following personnel in order for them to fulfil the requirements of their role:Client Services teamHead of Investor Relations and Sales teamChief/Deputing Chief Operating OfficersVarious support functions, including fund accounting, operations and technologyLegal and Compliance teamInvestment TeamRisk TeamPersonal Attributes Strategic Thinker – considers long term solutions and threats to the businessCollaborative – works with colleagues at all levels to assist with their queries and find solutionsFlexible – considers all matters on their own merit and not the status quoPassionate – has a genuine desire to add value to the business at every levelPositive – exhibits a can-do approach and ethos to all colleaguesConsistent – offers the right advice every time
