Client Services Director - retail design

Client Services Director opening at a small retail design agency reporting to the Managing Director. Here, the CSD will act as the strategic contact for senior clients, build strong relationships, collaborate with account and project management teams to develop creative solutions, and manage a portfolio of accounts in the fashion and lifestyle sectors worth over £1million. This agency specialises in designing brand environments - creating authentic spaces and activations and content, using innovative digital platforms and sustainability methods.The CSD will directly manage 2-3 team members, lead and motivate the account team, and drive team appraisal, development, and training programs.The CSD will contribute to business planning with solid account and client plans, and help grow accounts organically. They will identify and achieve growth opportunities within existing accounts, measure success by growth of accounts and new business opportunities, explore and develop opportunities beyond traditional retail, and play a key role in developing new business pitch responses.The ideal candidate will have:Proven track record of managing high-value accounts and demonstrating growthExperience with retail brands in retail design, experiential activations, or content creation.Ability to grow multiple existing and new accounts simultaneously.Senior-level planning and strategizing skills.Proven ability to lead and maintain an accounts team, measuring performance and profitability monthly.Handling multiple large budgets.Strong client communication skills with a customer service attitude.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Flexibility to attend evening events and travel overseas for client needs.
