About the Role

Are you a driven leader with a passion for client success and a background in selling employee benefits? We are looking for an experienced Client Success Team Lead to join a dynamic company in the employee benefits and B2B sector. This is your chance to take on a leadership role that will have a direct impact on both sales growth and client satisfaction.

As the Client Success Team Lead, you'll manage a high-performing team focused on exceeding KPIs, building strong client relationships, and driving exceptional service delivery. You'll lead efforts in both new business generation and client retention, ensuring that every client interaction is handled with excellence.

This is a strategic role where you will oversee both direct clients and third-party partners, guiding your team through complex negotiations and ensuring the successful implementation of the Client Success Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Partnership & Client Success Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Guide the team to meet/exceed KPIs in areas like revenue, profitability, client retention, account growth, and new business acquisition.
  • Account & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level clients and partners. Be the key escalation point for high-priority accounts.
  • Client Success: Oversee the entire B2B sales funnel, ensuring smooth lead generation, client onboarding, contract renewals, and strategic client growth.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Take charge of complex, high-value contract negotiations, ensuring commercial terms align with company goals.
Skills & Experience
  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years managing a multi-channel B2B sales team (4+ direct reports).
  • Experience in Employee Benefits Sales: Proven experience in selling employee benefits, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Sales & Business Development: Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and driving new business.
  • Contract Negotiation Expertise: Experienced in handling complex negotiations, including service-level agreements and pricing.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage and nurture senior client relationships.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of profitability, pipeline management, and budget forecasting.
  • CRM Expertise: Proficiency in Dynamics CRM or similar systems, utilizing data for client engagement and pipeline management.
  • Communication & Presentation: Strong presentation skills, capable of speaking at senior levels and engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Able to think outside the box to develop new strategies for driving sales and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Personal Attributes: Energetic, results-driven, transparent, and comfortable in challenging situations.
