Kingdom Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team as a Clinical Manager in a nursing home in London, UK.
As a Clinical Manager, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to meet their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise 2 suites, overseeing a team of 10-12 nurses and 40 care staff members
- Primarily a Monday to Friday role, with occasional weekend shifts as part of the role's supervisory duties
- Qualifications as a registered nurse required, with the ability to provide hands-on care if needed
- Prior experience in a clinical and management role in a nursing home preferred
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for the role of Clinical Manager at our client nursing home in London, UK, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Valid and current membership with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- First Level Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience, with previous experience in a senior nurse or management position, in the UK
- Experience in clinical operations, medicine, training, and home care
- Preference for those with experience in elderly care and nursing home settings
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Valid UK visa that permits work as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
- Must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tuberculosis, and COVID-19
- Desirable but not mandatory - Car driver with a valid licence
- Valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate, registered on the DBS update service
