Clinical Pharmacists required - Hampshire

Hunter Gatherer AHP are seeking several locum Clinical Pharmcists to join an NHS run hospital service in Hampshire. If you have hospital pharmacy experience as a pharmacist we want to hear from you!

Job Title: Locum Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
Location: Hampshire
Hourly Rate: £29 - £37 per hour, via PAYE Direct Engagement
Contract: 6-Month Contract, ASAP Start (Nov 2024)

About the Role:

We are currently seeking several dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacists to join our NHS Hospital client in Hampshire , on a 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing clinical pharmacy services to patients and supporting the wider multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical medication reviews for hospital patients, ensuring safe and effective use of medications.
• Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals on pharmaceutical matters.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimise patient care.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans.
• Manage and monitor patients with complex medication regimens.
• Ensure adherence to best practice guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Support the education and training of junior pharmacy staff.

Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Previous experience in a clinical pharmacy setting (Band 7/8a preferred).
• Strong knowledge of medicines management and clinical pharmacy practice.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience with patient medication counselling and pharmaceutical care plans.
• ASAP start with a minimum of 6 months availability.
