You will be the kind of person who wants to make a difference within your day-to-day work, but of course there are a few other requirements:

  • Background in application, technical, or scientific support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in delivering training sessions
  • Skilled in customer support and complaint resolution
  • Competence in system installation, configuration, and commissioning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel as needed
  • Understanding of medical device regulations and compliance standards
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and administrative processes
  • Ability to make informed decisions and assess situations logically
  • Tissue/Cellular Pathology/Histology/Histopathology background
  • Immunohistochemistry (IHC) / In Situ Hybridisation (ISH)
  • Platforms: Benchmark Ultra, Ultra Plus, XT, Bond, DAKO
  • Candidate must be located within the South/South East UK or willing to relocate.

In this role you will be working in and amongst the Systems Support department, to provide technical support, troubleshooting, training, and on-site assistance for system installations and customer enquiries. You will also be responsible for:

  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide technical assistance
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, escalating when necessary
  • Design and conduct training sessions for internal and external stakeholders
  • Install and configure instruments for routine use
  • Offer on-site support during system verification and go-live processes
  • Maintain professional and responsive communication with customers
  • Assist commercial teams with sales support and product demonstrations
  • Keep technical knowledge up to date for supported products
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and company compliance policies
  • Provide after-hours telephone support if required

Job Title: Clinical Product Support Applications Specialist
Location (Field Based): Remote - South / South East (excluding London), ad-hoc visits to Burgess Hill
Salary: �265.27 - �305.06 (UMB) per day
Full Time
6 Month Contract inside IR35
