The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, with a strong focus on security and compliance. This role requires a DV clearance due to the sensitive nature of the projects.Key Responsibilities:Cloud Infrastructure Design: Develop and implement robust cloud architecture solutions that meet business requirements and security standards.Deployment and Maintenance: Manage the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.Security Compliance: Ensure all cloud solutions comply with industry and government security standards and regulations.Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts for cloud resource provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, security, and network engineers, to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly into the broader IT environment.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, processes, and procedures.Required Skills and Experience:Security Clearance: Must hold a current DV (Developed Vetting) clearance.Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Cloud Architecture: Proficient in designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions.Automation Tools: Strong knowledge of automation tools and frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).Security Best Practices: In-depth understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Desirable Qualifications:Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect).Networking: Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies in a cloud environment.DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).
