Job Description Cloud Solution Architect About the Role: Our client, a leading consultancy in the UK, is actively seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Solution Architect to join their dedicated technology team. This is a pivotal role within the organization, designed to maintain and enhance technology systems across the firm, ensuring seamless operations and enabling the delivery of industry-leading services to clients. Key Responsibilities: As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will: Collaborate with various stakeholders including technical managers, architecture review boards, and project managers to deliver robust technical solutions. Manage the design process for new technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration into ongoing build activities. Lead the implementation and deployment of Azure-based solutions, providing technical oversight throughout the development lifecycle. Engage in the creation of business cases, contributing to budgetary and forecast planning. Ensure all solutions align with business expectations and the overarching technology roadmap. What We're Looking For: A passionate professional with at least 6 months of experience in a design-focused architectural role. Solid experience deploying services within Azure and a strong grasp of Microsoft technologies. Proficiency in cloud computing concepts, infrastructure-as-code, PowerShell, and DevOps principles. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 Technologies and Azure Technologies, including Azure AD, Azure SQL, and Azure VMs. Experience with networking and management in both on-prem and cloud contexts. Outstanding communication skills and a strategic mindset capable of systems thinking. Amazing Extras (Not Essential): More than 5 years in engineering roles with hands-on design experience. Relevant certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-303/304/305 are highly desirable. Why Join Us?
