What you will be doing
As a Trainee 5 Axis CNC Operator, you will receive comprehensive training to become proficient in operating advanced CNC machinery. This role involves working with both composite and wooden components, ranging from large moulds like boat hulls and decks up to 131 feet in length, to smaller mouldings such as locker lids. You will gain invaluable experience and skills, contributing significantly to our client's Development Team post-training.

Key responsibilities
- Operate state-of-the-art 5 Axis CNC machines
- Manufacture composite and wooden components
- Participate in a team-based, physically demanding environment
- Learn health and safety practices, production systems, and quality measures

Recruitment process
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an Assessment Centre in July 2024 (exact date TBC)

What do you need for this role?
- Comfortable with physical, labor-intensive tasks
- (Not essential) Level 2 qualification in an engineering discipline.
- (Not essential) Experience working within manufacturing or construction trade. Preferably wood work or composites.
- Ability to start work without planned leave exceeding three days within the first eight weeks
- Willingness to attend the Assessment Centre in July 2024
