CNC Machinist/ Fitter

Our client in East Sussex is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Fitter to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about precision engineering and CNC machinery.
As the CNC Fitter, you will:
Assemble, fit, and maintain CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to prevent downtime
Collaborate with the production team to enhance operational efficiency
Read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsKey Skills Required
Experience: Previous experience in CNC machinery assembly, fitting, or maintenance
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical systems and CNC operations
Attention to Detail: Ability to work with precision and ensure high-quality standards
Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues
Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent work experience
