CNC Machinist (Setter / Programmer)

My client in the Mexborough area of Rotherham are looking for an experienced CNC Miller / Turner.

Duties of the Role

Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling/turning machines
Working with Fanuc and Hurco controls
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Ensuring high standards of quality and precision
Optimising machining processes for efficiency
Performing quality checks and basic machine maintenance

Requirements of a CNC Miller or CNC Turner

Proven experience in CNC milling or turning (setting, operating, and programming)
Strong knowledge of Fanuc and Hurco controls
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Experience in a precision engineering environment
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
