CNC machinist required at a location in Avonmouth, BS11
£27,560 per annum
Working hours
37.5 hours per week
Monday
Friday 6am-2pm week 1
Monday
Wednesday 2pm-12pm, Thursdays 2pm-11.30pm week 2
Fridays off!
Salary breakdown is £13.33 per hour basic plus £15 per day shift premium for afternoon shift

About the role
Operating Eumach, Hartford and Haas CNC machines
Verifies parts are within customer required tolerances, using tape, micrometer, and caliper instruments
Performs daily maintenance checks on CNC machines
Operates fork trucks and jib cranes when required
Ensure productivity sheets are completed each day
Performs daily housekeeping including the surrounding work area
The right candidate
Experience in a similar role
Knowledge of a production facility and manufacturing processes
Comfortable with manual lifting up to 20kgs
Able to communicate with individuals at all levels
Basic mathematical skills
