Job Opportunity: Experienced CNC Mill/Turn Machinist



Location: Leeds, UK

Position: Full-Time

Salary: �37.5k - �42k, plus bonuses. On target earnings potentially in excess of �46k.

Job Description:



We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill/Turn Machinist to join a skilled team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating and programming CNC mill/turn machines, with specific experience in either Fanuc or Haas G-code programming. Key Responsibilities:




  • Operate and program CNC mill/turn machines to produce high-precision components.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD designs.

  • Perform setup, tooling, and calibration of machines.

  • Monitor the machining process, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.

  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize production processes.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.



Requirements:




  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a focus on mill/turn machines.

  • Proficient in Fanuc or Haas G-code programming.

  • Strong understanding of machining principles, tools, and equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Relevant certifications or technical education in machining or engineering is a plus.
