CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator

On behalf of Our client on the outskirts of Northamptonshire we are looking to recruit experienced 5 axis CNC Millers and CNC Programmers. The successful candidate will have a strong background setting and operating 5 axis CNC Millers OR Programming offline using CADCAM software. CADCAM Programming knowledge will also be advantageous but is not essential. This is a permanent role in a growing company that produce high precision bespoke parts and are regularly investing into new machinery. Our client has a varied order book and therefore programming and machining work within the business is interesting and varied day by day producing mostly low volume and prototype components. As most of the components produced are high precision/ and to tight tolerances it will be beneficial if you have worked within any of the following industries including Formula 1, Motorsport, Oil & Gas and Aerospace.

CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator

• Setting and Operating a variety of machines including vertical mills, horizontal mills and 5 axis


• Editing programmes using Fanuc controls or using the CADCAM software


• CADCAM Programming experience will be highly advantageous


• Supporting other machinists to ensure work is caried out on time


• Experience interpreting Engineering Drawings


• Work to tight tolerances and inspection of own work


• To work to your own initiative and understand manufacturing processes

CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator

• Strong knowledge of Fanuc or HAAS controls


• A good understanding of Engineering drawings


• Ability to work to tight tolerances


• Ability to set and operate 5 Axis CNC Machines


• CADCAM Programming Knowledge
