A precision engineering company based in Hitchin are looking for an experienced CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter to join their expanding team. The company are very well established and due to continued success throughout the years are offering an exciting opportunity for the right engineer. The company produce large components for various industries including Aerospace, defence and automotive.�

The Role - CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter

The company are looking for a CNC Miller programmer setter �with experience using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls. You will be required to machine large components in one offs and small batch work quantities.�

Duties - CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter

• To program, set and operate CNC Milling machines via Fanuc or Heidenhain controls.�


• Large component machining.


• To understand and read engineering drawing.�

Requirements - CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter

• Experienced programming, setting and operating CNC Mills.�


• Have a working knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain Control.


• Understand drawings with close tolerances.�


• Experienced in machining different types of materials.
