About the Role:



We are seeking an experienced 5 Axis CNC Miller Programmer to join our dynamic team based in Bracknell. The successful candidate will specialize in programming and operating a DMG DMU Evo machine, focusing on producing one-off and small batch precision components for the aerospace and space sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within a fast-paced, innovative environment.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Program, set, and operate 5 Axis CNC milling machines, particularly the DMG DMU Evo.

  • Create precision components according to detailed specifications and engineering drawings.

  • Utilize MasterCam and Vericut software for programming and simulation; experience with other CAD/CAM software is also considered.

  • Manage one-off and small batch production runs, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all components meet required tolerances and specifications.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.

  • Maintain machine tools and ensure the working environment is safe and compliant with company standards.



Requirements:




  • Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating 5 Axis CNC milling machines.

  • Proficiency in MasterCam and Vericut; experience with other CAD/CAM software is advantageous.

  • Strong background in manufacturing components for the aerospace and/or space sectors.

  • Ability to interpret and work from complex engineering drawings.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.

  • Effective communication skills and a proactive team player.
