CNC Miller Setter Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our team. The CNC Miller will be responsible for setting and operating milling machines using the Heidenhain control system. This position is crucial to our manufacturing process and requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of CNC milling operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain control system


• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine milling operations


• Select and change cutting tools


• Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and tooling


• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications

• Proven experience setting and operating milling machines


• Proficiency with Heidenhain control system


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints


• Strong attention to detail and quality


• Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude


• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

Day-to-day

On a typical day, the CNC Miller will be setting up and operating CNC milling machines, interpreting technical drawings to determine machining operations, inspecting parts for quality, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
