My client based in Bedford is looking for a skilled CNC Miller/Turner to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision engineering, with experience in machining high quality components.
Day shift�
Key responsibilities
� Operate, set and program CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision engineered components.
� Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD Models.
� Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feed for different materials and machining process.
� Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards
� Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any mechanical issues
� Work efficiently to meet production targets whilst maintaining high accuracy
� Adhere to health and safety procedures
� collaborate with engineers to improve processes and product quality.
Skills & Experience
� Proven experience as a CNC Miller/Turner in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
� Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
� Proficiency in CNC programming.
� Strong understanding of machining principles and cutting tool selection.
� Excellent attention to detail
� Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
