CNC Miller - Programmer, Setter, Operator

Contek are recruiting for a CNC Miller to join a team of engineers in a company based in Letchworth. This company have a variety of sectors that they service, and specialise in lower volume machining with more niche components.�

This position is suitable for an experienced candidate who can hit the ground running and is able to program his own work from scratch.�

Responsibilities;

• Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Mills using Heidenhain.


• Working to technical drawings to produce components to tight tolerances.


• Inspection of own components where necessary.


• Use of a Fanuc based Robodrill.�


• Work from your own initiative or as a team where needed.


• Work at a fast pace to keep orders completed OTIF.

Experience required;

• Experience using Heidenhain and Fanuc (Minimum Heidenhain).


• Apprenticeship served or a solid engineering foundation.


• Ability to program without supervision


• Ideally used a Fanuc based Robodrill but can be trained.

Hours of work; (37.5)

Monday to Friday

08:00 - 16:30�

Overtime is available in this role and due to a stacked and growing order book, overtime is readily available.�
