Here at Impact Recruitment, we are hiring for one of our clients based in Rugby. They are a well-established precision engineering firm that has been operating for several decades, supplying high-quality, bespoke components across various industries, including Oil and Gas.

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to operate a 4-axis Starrag Mill using Heidenhain controls to manufacture precision-engineered parts and components.

\n

\n

Salary: £19.11 per hour (£39,744 per annum)

\n

Hours: 2pm - 12am (Monday - Thursday)

\n

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire

\n

\n

Job Duties:

\n

\n
• Operate and set a 4-axis Starrag Mill to produce bespoke precision components.
\n
• Work on small batch sizes (typically 1-5 pieces), ensuring high accuracy and quality.
\n
• Use Heidenhain controls, making necessary edits and adjustments when required.
\n
• Ensure all components meet strict quality standards and customer specifications.
\n
• Conduct in-process quality checks to maintain consistency and accuracy.
\n
• Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Minimum 10 years' experience working with CNC milling machines.
\n
• Essential: Strong experience with Heidenhain controls.
\n
• Ability to set and operate CNC machines independently.
\n
• Programming experience is not required, but the ability to edit and adjust programs is beneficial.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
\n
