Salary: Up to £36,000 depending on level of experience
Shifts: Monday to Friday 14:00

Do you have experience programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines?

Are you skilled in Heidenhain controls and looking to take the next step in your career?

If so, I want to hear from you. Our client, a reputable and established precision engineering business with over 50 years in the industry, is seeking a talented CNC Miller to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Programme, set and operate CNC Milling machines to produce high-precision components for a variety of industries.
• Program and adjust settings using Heidenhain controls.
• Ensure all components are produced within tight tolerances and to the highest quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and keep machines in optimal condition.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring the correct specifications are met.
• Monitor the production process to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Heidenhain controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits:

• Competitive salary up to £36,000 per annum.
• Hours 14:00-00:00 Monday to Thursday OR 07:30-16:45 Monday to Thursday / 07:30-12:30am Friday.

• X1.3 on all overtime
