About the Role CNC Setter/Operator

You'll be setting and operating CNC milling machines, tackling complex aerospace components to tight tolerances. Expect to:

\n
• Set and operate multi-axis CNC milling machines (Fanuc, Mazak & Heidenhain controls)
\n
• Prove out machining processes and resolve technical issues
\n
• Monitor cutting tools, changing and setting them as needed
\n
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
\n
• Inspect components using micrometers, Vernier calipers & shadow graphs
\n
• Keep the workspace tidy (6S standards) and contribute to process improvements
\n

What You Need to Bring

• Experience in CNC milling Setting & operating multi-axis CNC machining centres
\n
• Expertise in machining aerospace-grade materials Aluminium, titanium & steel

• Strong understanding of NC code & ISO Programming
\n
• Ability to self-inspect complex components using high-precision measuring tools
\n
• Time-served or apprenticeship trained? Even better!
\n
• Adaptability & problem-solving skills Because every component counts
\n
