CNC Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to perform various tasks in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain equipment by performing regular checks and cleaning
• Troubleshoot machine errors and perform basic maintenance tasks

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machinery including mills and logic controllers
• Proficiency in materials handling, tooling, and using hand tools
• Mechanical knowledge for machine setup and adjustments
• Ability to weld and assemble parts
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous

Day-to-day

• Operating CNC machines
• Reading technical drawings and blueprints
• Inspecting and measuring finished products
• Performing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

£30,420- £40,560 Annually

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
