CNC Programmer (Nights)

Our client is a large plastic extrusion & injection moulding manufacturer with blue chip clients and they are in the process of expanding their production. This opportunity is for a skilled CNC Programmer to join the company and play an integral part of the production facility in Denton.

They are promoting a 4 day working week and there is further opportunity for progression in the future and the possibility of the department growing through continued success.

Job Responsibilities

* Working from technical drawings and inputting the designs into the computer modelling systems.

* Loading new programmes into the machines and programming the CNC machines with new jobs.

* Resolving any technical issues with any of the job running throughout the night shift.

* Loading the machines with the materials /

* products and setting the cutting tools for each individual job.

* Carrying out any maintenance and basic repairs on the machinery.

* Training new staff as and when required.

* Continually following all health and safety guidelines and ensuring quality is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.

Job Requirements

* Past experience working as a CNC Programmer.

* Must be able to interpret technical drawings / blueprints.

* Previous experience working with computer modelling software.

* Degree qualified in an engineering qualification.

* Keen attention to detail.

* Ideally the successful person would drive and have their own transport.

Hours:

This is a permanent night shift and the hours are as follows:

6pm – 6am Monday – Thursday
