Job Title: CNC Turner - Mazatrol Programmer

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £18 - £25 per hour (annual £36,000 - £50,000) + Overtime Available

Hours: Days | 07:30 - 16:00 | 13:00 Finish on Fridays

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner - Programmer with strong Mazatrol programming skills to join a leading subcontract machining firm. Specializing in exotic materials such as Duplex, Super Duplex, Inconel, and Monel, this role is ideal for a skilled professional looking to work in a high-precision, AS9100-accredited environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC lathes.
  • Working with exotic materials to tight tolerances.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Producing high-quality precision components.
  • Collaborating with a skilled team in a NADCAP-accredited facility.

This well-established subcontract machining firm is a specialist in conventional and CNC machining, with additional expertise in special processes, NADCAP-accredited Chemical Treatment, and NDT. They operate a cutting-edge facility with a range of Mazak turning centres and Matsuura machining centres, ensuring high-precision manufacturing across the aerospace and high-performance engineering sectors.

What We're Looking For:


  • Strong experience in Mazatrol programming (essential).
  • Proven background in precision CNC turning.
  • Ability to work with exotic materials (Duplex, Inconel, etc.).
  • Experience in a subcontract machining environment.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 standards (preferred).
