Cnc Programmer

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team based in Coventry. This role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC machines and Kuka Robots to meet daily production targets.

• Annual salary of �35,000


• Opportunity to work with advanced CNC machines and Kuka Robots


• Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30, Friday 08:00 to 13:00

The Role:

As a CNC Programmer, you will:

• Programme and operate CNC machines and Kuka Robots


• Ensure daily production targets are met


• Implement Lean Management, support 5S, and TPMs


• Adjust machine settings to optimise production while maintaining quality


• Consider tools required to cut materials and programme machines accordingly


• Troubleshoot and resolve machine/robot issues as they arise


• Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and TPMs


• Train new employees on CNC machine/robot operation


• Read and interpret technical drawings and design models

The Candidate:

The ideal CNC Programmer will have:

• Experience and good working knowledge of Power Mill


• Experience with Openmind Hypermill Software


• Knowledge of composites and their manufacturing processes


• Basic knowledge of race cars and road cars


• Minimum of 2 years working within the F1/Motorsport/Automotive industry


• Proficiency with Fanuc 3 & 5 axis control systems


• Experience with 3-axis Fusion 360 CAM software


• Proficiency with Power Mill CAM software


• Good organisational and communication skills


• Health & Safety awareness

The Package:
