Job Title: CNC Setter (Permanent)
Location: Newton Abbot
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Salary: £30,000 - £31,000

Role Summary:
Francesca's Recruitment Ltd is urgently seeking a skilled CNC Setter for a company based in Newton Abbot. This role involves programming, setting, and monitoring CNC machines to meet targets, criteria, and deadlines.
Essential Duties:
*
Programming and running CNC machines to complete new products and various functions.
*
Changing the tooling of the CNC machine.
*
Observing machine operations to verify accuracy and detect malfunctions using precision measuring instruments.
*
Adjusting machine controls and verifying “first piece inspection” using appropriate measuring instruments.
*
Monitoring work, testing, and taking critical measurements to identify and resolve issues promptly.
*
Post-editing CNC programs for optimal performance.
*
Maintaining accurate data, records, and documentation.
*
Performing tasks within allotted time limits.
*
Ensuring compliance with quality standards, policies, procedures, codes, and health and safety legislation.
*
Reporting any issues impacting the organization or its clients/customers to the Line Manager.
*
Contributing to the smooth running of the team.
*
Responsibly using resources and controlling expenses to meet budgetary controls.
*
Participating in special projects as required.

Education & Experience (Knowledge & Skills):
Knowledge of CNC Wood Routers.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficient in using machinery, tools, equipment, and materials common to the role.
Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Strong time management and task management skills.
