Cnc Turner Setter Operator

An exciting CNC Turner position has become available in Uxbridge at a precision engineering company.

Job Title:  CNC Turner Setter Operator

Shift: Monday to Thursday, around 36 hours a day with Friday used as overtime

Rate: Up to £18.50 p/h

The Job:

• Set up CNC turning machines by installing and adjusting tools, fixtures, and workpieces.


• Select appropriate cutting tools and machine parameters based on job specifications and material types.


• Load raw materials and input machining programs into the CNC machine.


• Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.


• Ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications.


• Document inspection results and maintain records of production runs.


• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate:

• Extensive CNC turning experience 


• High levels of concentration, organisation and time management.


• Ability to converse in two-way communication.


• Pride in your work and working environment.


• Keen eye and excellent attention to detail.


• Fanuc experience.
