An exciting CNC Turner position�has�become available in Leek at a precision engineering company.

Job Title:�CNC Turner Setter Operator

Shift:�Day Shift,�Monday to Thursday - 7:00am to 4:00pm and Friday - 7:00am to 12:00pm

Rate:��15 - 18�p/h

The Job

• Setting, and operating machines


• Interpretation of drawings and 3D digital files


• Maintain clean and tidy stations


• Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.


• Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.


• XYZ controls


• G codes


• Training is available!

Requirements

• Time served / equivalent experience in a precision machining company


• Relevant Engineering Qualification


• Ideally Apprentice Trained


• Working to tight tolerances


• Experience of working with a wide range of materials including , Inconel, titanium, mild steels, brass, aluminium-bronze, bronzes, aluminium, plastics, super duplex etc.


• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail


• Team Player


• Flexible
