Working closely with the aerospace and defence sectors, offering a broad range of precision sub-contracting services. The owner has overseen constant reinvestment in the companys development. Job Profile Due to continued growth and expansion, with consistent reinvestment into state-of-the-art CNC Machining, manufacturing and quality equipment, there is now a position available for an experienced CNC Turner looking to join an established leader and really make a difference to the companys success story. Duties: CNC Turning Programming Setting and Operating CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls (Doosan Puma 2600 single turret lathe with C & Y Axis).
Writing and proving our programs on a 2axis CNC Lathe.
Producing parts and components to tight tolerances in batches of 1 10 offs, from various materials.
Skills & Attributes: Extensive CNC turning experience (min 5 Years).
Ability to write and prove programs.
Ability to understand engineering drawings.
Ability to work to a high level of precision with tight tolerances and time schedules.
Experience of working with small batch sizes, such as 1-10 offs.
Good all-round knowledge of machining various materials.
Ability to work unsupervised, and as part of a team.
Working Environment / Culture: Privately owned business with a close and friendly team.
Smaller, growing company with 18 in total and 2 in the Quality Department.
Busy, hardworking team, but arent micro-managed.

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week
7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday
7:30am to 12:30pm, Friday
Flexible hours available from 6:30am start
£18.00 to £19.00 p/hr
