CNC Grinder

Salary �38,500 + bonus, Bristol BS1, 33 days incl bank hols, pension 4.5 %, 38 hours a week on Shifts Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm (early finish Fridays on all shifts) pension parking, bonus.

Friendly and successful aerospace engineering company in Bristol are recruiting for a cnc grinder or cnc universal grinder who would report in to the section team leader.

Job description for the cnc grinder or cnc universal grinder

• Setting and operating Jones & Shipman and Toyoda universal grinding machines.
• Product compliance through manufacture processing adherence.
• Maintaining quality of product to relevant quality standards using conventional measuring equipment.
• Basic programming ability would be useful but not essential

Key Skills required for the cnc grinder or cnc universal grinder

• Qualified in mechanical engineering, minimum two years' experience of performing CNC Machining operations preferably within an Aerospace environment.

• Competent in accurately interpreting customer drawings and specifications, manufacturing route cards, process instructions.
• Competent in using all types of standard measuring equipment (Micrometres, Vernier's, Shadowgraph and hard gauging etc.)

• Ability to load and set proved out programs.
• Ability to program would be an advantage but not essential for this role.
