Job role: CNC vertical borer

Location: Wimborne

Shifts: 37 hours, Mon - Thurs: Days 7:30am -4:30pm / Fri: 7am - 12:30

Salary: from �17.00- �19.50 DOE + Overtime available at time & half.

A global manufacturer specialising in precision engineered parts for multiple industries including defence, aerospace and marine.

The CNC Miller programmer position:

We have an exciting opportunity for an established CNC vertical borer. Using quality machinery and great working conditions including Doosan, Webster Bennett, Hyundai.

The Successful Candidate:

• Vertical borer
• Have the ability to read drawings / specifications, work from customer specifications.
• Setting tools
• Fanuc/Heidenhain experience
• Editing Programs
• Quality control experience
• Working to 5s standard in areas
• Safe handling of components, jigs & fixtures

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship program
• Proven experience as a programmer in the aerospace industry
• Ability to work from detail.
• Experience of sheet metal
