The firm has a very stable team, which has lead to impressive performance for the past 15 years. This role is pivotal in driving the firm's growth by raising assets globally, with a specific focus on expanding the client base in the United States. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team to formulate and execute strategic initiatives that enhance the firm’s market presence and asset inflows.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve asset growth targets, particularly focusing on US clients.Client Acquisition: Identify and engage potential institutional and high-net-worth clients, including pension funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, and wealth management firms.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term partnerships.Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the asset management industry, particularly in the US market.Product Development: Collaborate with the investment team to tailor products and solutions that meet client needs and market demands.Marketing & Outreach: Lead the creation of marketing materials, pitch books, and presentations that effectively communicate the firm's value proposition and investment strategies.Collaboration: Work in conjunction with the other Co-Head of Business Development, and the founders, to align strategies and ensure cohesive efforts across different regions.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 10 years of experience (or equivalent) in business development within the asset management industry, with a proven track record of raising assets, particularly in the US market.Knowledge: Deep understanding of long only and long/short investment strategies, as well as the broader asset management landscape.Network: Established network of institutional and high-net-worth clients in the US and globally.Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
