The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and committed Facilities Manager who will both operationally manage and strategically develop all estates and facilities related services at our Ardleigh Green Campus. Reporting to the Group Director Estates you will also lead on capital investment in your physical estate and manage adaptation, alteration, refurbishment and improvement projects and all associated budgets with regard to the estates service. You will also be the organisations competent person at the site and senior management lead on health & safety, fire safety and security.
Key Responsibilities:
To manage the operational delivery of the Hard and Soft FM services at the Campus including but not limited to cleaning, catering and security contracts.
To support the Group Director Estates in providing effective, comprehensive and appropriate health, safety, energy and environmental management systems, procedures and processes.
To manage the campus space, optimising the learning environment, utilising both teaching and non-teaching accommodation, together with the management of moves and relocations.
To support the Group Health & Safety Manager in leading on estates health and safety matters for the campus.

Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent. With relevant professional qualifications, and extensive experience in the management of all aspects of hard and soft facilities services and health & safety, you will lead a high-quality team in delivering exceptional value and customer service to the college community. You must be able to demonstrate substantial experience in building and building services engineering; management of BMS systems; compliance; change and contract management; and the development and delivery of capital programmes on time and to budget.
