Our client, a leader in the food industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join their dynamic team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in supporting the central finance team objectives by delivering accurate and timely financial information, driving operational improvements, and enhancing overall profitability.

Main Responsibilities

• Communicate accounting schedules and resolve issues affecting commercial teams.
• Identify and address financial risks and opportunities promptly.
• Maintain customer-focused operations and foster relationships with finance and internal teams.
• Lead process improvements and support business enhancement projects.
• Ensure accurate and timely commercial margin reporting and controls.
• Execute key P&L controls and support margin-impacting projects.
• Pursue professional development and demonstrate effective work practices

Required

• A professional qualification of CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, influencing change, and explaining financial data to non-financial personnel.
• Strong ability to translate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
