Commercial Assistant

A quality regional House builder are looking to recruit a Commercial Assistant for house building schemes in the Midlands region.
The role:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will work as a Commercial Assistant and assist with both Quantity Surveying and Purchasing for house building projects.
Working in a commercial team which is a great team and and has a good work ethic.Currently working on a variety of sites from 4 to 200 units accross the West Midlands.
The Company:
A quality regional Housebuilder who build between 60-80 houses per year and have a variety of house types.
They do things a little differently from the major house builders as they often build more bespoke units, with bespoke specifications.
The Person:
You will ideally have strong communication skills, be a team player, organised and methodical with good IT skills. You will have excellent negotiating skills
and be able to work calmly under pressure. The role will require either experience in a similar role or a constrution qualification such as Building Studies,Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
It is likely you will have previously worked as either a Commercial Assistant,Assistant Buyer,Trainee Buyer,Trainee QS or or Assistant QS in a similar house building environment.
Alternatively you may be a recent graduate or qualifed in a construction qualification.
