Commercial Assistant required in Colchester

We have an extraordinary opportunity for a Commercial Assistant who wants to learn every element of the construction process from inception through to completion.

The business undertake Residential New Build projects in in Essex and is looking to expand the commercial team inline with their ambitious growth plans.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small yet growing business that will offer direct access to the knowledge and experience of the Managing Director of the organisation.

Company location: Colchester

Working days: 5 days office based with associated site visits in and around London�

Salary: �35K - �50k�

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Measuring


• Take-offs


• Producing bills of quantities


• Procurement of materials Managing budgets


• Site surveys


• Client liaison and communication


• Networking


• Attending site meetings


• Reporting


• Value engineering

Commercial Assistant Requirements:

• Be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, or a Construction related scheme


• Experience working for either a main contractor or Residential developer


• A team player


• Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying or Estimating compacity in the construction industry


• Be client facing and likes to engage with clients and supply chain
