Commercial Contracts Lawyer

A local authority based in London is seeking a Senior Contracts Lawyer for an initial period of three months. This is an interim position to start as soon as possible. The successful Contracts Lawyer will have experience dealing with a broad range of contracts and procurement matters relating to the procurement of goods, works and services, state aid, funding agreements, TUPE related issues. You will also be required to draft and advise on contract documents, construction contracts, and local authority governance. Previous local government experience is highly advantageous. Procurement experience is essential. UK experience is essential. You must have a current practising certificate and be a solicitor, barrister or fellow of ILEX. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a talented, friendly, and highly regarded in-house legal team. The role is paying £307.38 per day PAYE, or £384.99 umbrella per day.
