Job Description The Client:
A fast growing PE backed insurance broker with an exciting growth trajectory are looking for a 5+ PQE Commercial lawyer to join their legal team. Working autonomously, you will be responsible for a range of legal matters across the business. They would consider part-time options on 4 days a week basis.
You will only be required max 1 day a week in the office (in Essex), they can only also offer a near remote role if necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including partnership agreements, supplier agreements. vendor contracts, and customer terms and conditions.
Provide assistance with maintaining the legal precedent bank; and assist with providing training to the business on new and ongoing legal and compliance issues
Provide support to the business on the onboarding of new clients
Working in multidisciplinary teams across various departments, including product development, marketing, and human resources, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Working with external counsel to support with employment, litigation, IP, regulatory law etc.
